(KNSI) — Police in St. Cloud are investigating after a man was shot to death Tuesday night.
Police were called to a home for a shooting on the 1200 block of 10th Avenue South at about 7:45. Officers arrived and found a man with a gunshot wound to the head. He was rushed to St. Cloud Hospital, where he died.
Investigators say the suspects fled the scene and the vehicle was found abandoned about two hours later on the east side of St. Cloud. They also say the shooting is not believed to be a random incident.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension’s Crime Scene Team processed the scene. The Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the victim and conduct an autopsy.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
