(KNSI) – The Central Minnesota Mental Health Center’s new Crisis/Detox location in Saint Cloud is ready for its open house. The public is invited Tuesday from 11 AM to 2 PM. Executive Director Jessica Brandon says there will be tours given throughout the time slot and an official ribbon cutting is scheduled for noon.

Brandon says the site is ready to go but operations probably will not begin until summer. “We are under a lot of licensing standards and are having some trouble with final approval because of supply chain delays like everyone else is having. It will certainly be in the next few months [that] it’ll be open for services. But, we are not sure exactly what that date will be,” she says.

The new center is located at 1321 13th Street North in Saint Cloud. Brandon says it is the only new facility in the organization’s network coming online in the near future, and it should provide additional help for the largest city in CMMHC’s service area.

“So, we’ll have the opportunity for some expansion at the building that will be vacated because it’s moving to this new building,” she says.

Central Minnesota Mental Health Center operates in Benton, Sherburne, Stearns, and Wright Counties.
