(KNSI) — Jury selection continues for a third day in the trial of Gregory Ulrich.
Ulrich is accused of walking into the Allina Crossroads Buffalo Clinic on February 9th and opening fire, killing one person and seriously injuring four others. Ulrich also allegedly detonated two improvised explosive devices – one at the clinic’s entrance and the other near a desk in the clinic’s interior.
The 68-year-old Ulrich is charged with one count of second-degree murder, four counts of attempted first-degree murder, and one count of felony use of an explosive device and felon in possession of a firearm.
Seven jurors have been seated so far. There will be 16 total for the case, which both sides hope to have selected by the end of this week, with opening statements set for next week.
