Library Celebrates Local Author

(KNSI) — Local author Hudda Ibrahim will be reading her new children’s book to kids Wednesday at the St. Cloud Public Library.

The book, Lula Wants to Wear a Badge, tells the story of a little girl who dreams of being a police officer.

A book release celebration will be held Wednesday, May 18th from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. and Ibrahim will be reading her book at 5:00 and 5:30. There will be police car tours, K-9 demonstrations, and other police resources on display. Weather permitting the event will be outside of the library by the book drop box, or inside by the meeting rooms if needed.
