(KNSI) – You have a chance to be the voice of the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center. Saint Cloud State University’s men’s hockey team is looking for a public address announcer for the 2022-23 season.
In the preliminary round, you must record four audio samples of actual prompts read during an NCAA Division I game. Brush up on your knowledge of European towns like Espoo, Finland to deliver the starting lineups. Those that do it best will be invited for a tryout in June.
The Herb Brooks National Hockey Center is enhancing the sound system at the arena and installing a brand new video board. The next public address announcer will have a greater impact on fans’ gameday experiences than ever before.
Saint Cloud State hockey plays in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference. It made another appearance in the national tournament this spring, falling to Quinnipiac in the first round.
