(KNSI) — Jury selection begins today for the suspect in the fatal Allina Crossroads Clinic shooting last year.

Gregory Paul Ulrich is accused of walking into the clinic the morning of February 9th and opening fire, killing 37-year-old wife and mother of two Lindsay Overbay. Four other people were seriously injured in the shooting, including one person who was shot six times. Ulrich also allegedly detonated two improvised explosive devices – one at the clinic’s entrance and the other near a desk in the clinic’s interior.

The 68-year-old Ulrich is charged with one count of second-degree murder, four counts of attempted first-degree murder, and one count each of felony use of an explosive device and felon in possession of a firearm.

The trial phase is scheduled to get underway Monday, May 16th.
