(KNSI) – A man crashed his 2014 GMC Yukon Saturday afternoon, just after 2:30. The cause of the accident remains under investigation but the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office says alcohol is thought to be a factor.
39-year-old Shawn Solum of Osakis steered lost control on County Road 30 in Albany Township. It left the road, catching a driveway approach, and flipped. The SUV eventually came to rest right side up.
When the call came in, it was reported that Solum was unconscious. Sheriff deputies responded and found him alert with non-life-threatening injuries. He was taken to the hospital for treatment. Assisting were Albany Fire and Rescue and Melrose Ambulance.
