(KNSI) – The parking fees at Quarry Park changed on January 1st, increasing to $25 for an annual pass. Visitors need to update their permits, which can be done at the site in Waite Park. The gatekeeper and the pay station both accept cash or credit purchases.

The permit is only for parking your vehicle. Visitors coming into the park on foot or on their bicycles can gain access for free. There are daily options for parking. Currently, it is at $5 per day but that doubles during the summer season between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

The fee for not having a pass is $10 per day, and that jumps to $15 for summer. Active-duty military members get an annual pass for free. They have to show their ID to the park attendant.
