(KNSI) – A young woman was killed in a fiery crash near Brainerd.
The Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office says 18-year-old Alexis Laughton left the road and crashed into a tree at the intersection of Thorson Road and Mill Road, about five miles east of Brainerd.
The accident happened around 4:45 p.m. on Friday. Officails say she died at the scene. The accident is under investigation.
