(KNSI) — Five people are expected to be OK after their boat capsized Monday night.
According to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office, they were called to Green Lake just before 10:00 for a water emergency. Five people climbed on top of the boat after it flipped and hung on to it about 300 yards offshore. Rescuers say the five were not wearing life jackets.
Three teen boys were taken to the hospital for treatment of hypothermia.
The incident is still under investigation.
