(KNSI) – A man died after getting shot in Kandiyohi County. The sheriff’s office says they were called to a home on 165th Avenue Southeast in Lake Lillian around 8:30 on Tuesday night for a man with a gunshot wound.
Deputies say the 911 caller told police a gun fired and accidentally hit the 64-year-old victim in the head. The shooting is under investigation by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office.
The sheriff’s office says the victim’s name will be released later.
