(KNSI) – Coborn’s is shutting down a pilot program that gave Kimball residents an option to pick up their grocery orders at the corner of Highways 15 and 55. It was started in May of last year and was the responsibility of the Cash Wise store in Waite Park. Coborn’s says there is declining demand for pick-up.

Home deliveries are still possible for the area. The Coborn’s Marketplace location in Sartell on Pine Cone Road services down to Kimball each week from Tuesday through Saturday.

Coborn’s also processes online orders for curbside pickup at all of its Marketplace and Cash Wise stores. Director of eCommerce Dave Hartmann says service for Kimball is not going away, but it is changing.

He says, “We look forward to continuing to serve the Kimball area through our stores and through our home delivery service. We appreciate the community’s early support in testing the program and will continue to serve the Kimball area, just through different means.”
