(KNSI) — The Interstate 94 cone zone between Monticello and Hasty is back.
Work to divide the westbound lanes to accommodate two-way traffic starting next week began Thursday morning.
Work crews are putting up barriers to divide the westbound lanes into two lanes of eastbound and westbound traffic. The Minnesota Department of Transportation says due to the bad weather over the last week, the striping, barrier placement, and crossover work was put off, but will now start on April 25th, weather permitting.
The Enfield Rest Stop on eastbound I-94 did close as scheduled Friday, April 15th. The rest stop will remain closed until mid-August.
