(KNSI) — The St. Cloud Pepperjax Grill restaurant is closed, effective immediately.
A source informed KNSI that late Thursday morning, the restaurant was closed. A check of the Google listing showed it as permanently closed. Calls to the restaurant immediately went to voicemail.
A statement from the company emailed to KNSI said, “Closing a restaurant is a difficult decision and we did not make the decision lightly. With the staffing challenges and climate of the current restaurant environment, we have decided to close this restaurant and focus our synergies on the other markets we are currently in. It is never a feel good situation to close and we have appreciated our time in the St. Cloud community.”
The restaurant, known for its Philly cheesesteak sandwiches, also serves up bowls, nachos, and burritos. It opened at the corner of 33rd Avenue and Division Street in February of 2015.
