(KNSI) — The Midwest Medical Examiner is identifying the 19-year-old woman who died at a home Saturday night near New London.
About 10:45 Saturday night, the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office says they were called after Samatha Myers of Pennock was found unresponsive. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to officials, the case is still under investigation, but it is believed that she overdosed on a suspected illegal narcotic.
The sheriff’s office was assisted at the scene by CentraCare Ambulance Service, the CEE-VI Drug and Gang Task Force, New London Ambulance, and Lakes Area Rural Responders.
