Man Killed in Maple Grove After Alleged Traffic Altercation

(KNSI) — One person is dead after an alleged altercation between two drivers in Maple Grove on Sunday.

A person in one vehicle shot at someone in another vehicle near County Road 30 and Garland Lane near Walmart just before 3:00, according to police. Officers discovered the victim in a car off the road at Interstate 94 and Maple Grover Parkway. They were taken to the hospital, where they died.

Police say there is no ongoing threat to the public, but it’s not clear if a suspect is in custody. The victim’s identity has not been released.
