(KNSI) — A Waite Park woman is charged with four felonies after allegedly assaulting a man in his apartment.
Police were called Saturday for an alleged knife assault and discovered drops of blood leading from an apartment unit, down the stairs, and out the front door of the complex. They found the victim at a nearby apartment who told them Awar Omot Talian came into his apartment and tried to stab him in the head while he was cooking dinner. He said he tried to grab the knife and sliced his hand open before Talian tried stabbing him a second time.
He told police when he ran out of the apartment yelling for help; she chased him. He said he was afraid she was going to kill him.
Talian has been charged with two counts of felony domestic assault, first-degree burglary and assault, and second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon.
