(KNSI) – St. Cloud is patching potholes until they can make long-lasting repairs. Mayor Dave Kleis says crews are out now, but they’ll be back later.
“We’re still in that transition. We do those first patches but that’s not the permanent patch. You have to have temperatures well about 45 degrees well into the evening. And we’re not there yet. We’re close and hopefully, we’ll be able to then come back and do that permanent patch.”
Temperatures will stay below 45 degrees overnight for at least the next week. Kleis says there are many roads to maintain, so St. Cloud set up a hotline for people to report any craters they see.
“We have 400 miles of roadway and a lot of alleys. So, it’s always good if you can help our folks out by calling that number.”
If you see a pothole needing repair, call 320-650-2900 or after hours at 320-650-2949. St. Cloud is planning on a record amount of resurfacing projects in 2022.
