(KNSI) — A distracted driver is accused of rear-ending a school bus Tuesday morning.
The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office says shortly before 7:00; a St. Cloud Area School District 742 bus was stopped at a red light at County Road 75 and 28th Avenue South in Waite Park. Twenty-one-year-old Jaret Johnson of Morris was behind the bus and told police he didn’t see it stopping at the red light.
There were two students on board. No one was hurt.
Johnson was cited for inattentive driving.
