(KNSI) – Police say a dangerous suspect is on the run after a shooting in northwestern Minnesota. Phoutthasa Prathane is accused of shooting a person in Pelican Rapids on Sunday afternoon. The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office says the victim was taken from the scene but police didn’t release the victim’s name or condition.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension says Prathane fled the area after the shooting around 2:15 in Pelican Rapids. The 36 year old is armed and dangerous, and authorities say don’t approach Prathane if you spot him. Instead. Instead, call 911.
He was last seen in a black 2011 Toyota Tundra with Minnesota license plate 1092CD. The vehicle is a four door with wrap around brush guard on the front. Prathane is 5 foot 9 inches tall, approximately 185 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
