(KNSI) — The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office says 39-year-old Ryan Hoppe and 44-year-old Peggy Strack, both of Pierz, were seriously injured in an ATV crash Saturday night.
Officials say Hoppe was operating the off-roader when he lost traction on a frozen creek in Pulaski Township just after 10:30 p.m. The ATV rolled and Hoppe and Strack were ejected. Hoppe was airlifted from the scene to St. Cloud Hospital. Strack first went to St. Gabriel’s before being airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital.
Morrison County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Minnesota State Patrol, Pierz Fire Department, Pierz First Response Team, Sullivan Lake First Response Team, Mayo Clinic Ambulance, and Life Link III.
