(KNSI) – Flag raisers are needed at Target Field this season. The Minnesota Twins incorporated the ceremony into its pregame slate of events when the club moved to the ballpark in 2010. It has since become one of the most popular elements of the baseball experience.
Active-duty soldiers or veterans always do the honors in rightfield. They ask for basic information such as the branch of service and three dates for each month of the regular season when the flag raiser could be available.
