(KNSI) – Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity is teaming up with Crew Carwash on Division Street in St. Cloud for an Easter weekend fundraiser. On Friday, April 15th, and Saturday, April 16th, customers will be able to exchange a donation to the venerable charity for a high-end wash, says Habitat Executive Director Chad Johnson.
“If you give…just any donation at all to Habitat for Humanity right at the car wash, you will get the ultimate car wash, the top tier. It’s like $20. So even if you give a dollar donation to Habitat for Humanity you’ll get the $20 value of the car wash.”
Johnson says Crew Carwash is one of the newer businesses in town, but it is already leaving a huge mark with its generosity. The Indiana-based company held a similar event for Big Brothers Big Sisters and it proved to be extremely popular.
Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity is utilizing the skills of area high school students to deliver more homes than ever to applicants this year.
