(KNSI) – The St. Cloud Tech Tigers quest for a state championship ended on Tuesday afternoon.
The Tigers lost to DeLaSalle High School by a score of 69 to 55 in the Section AAA Quartfinales of the Minnesota State High School Tournament. Tech will play in the consolation bracket against Austin.
Tech advanced to the state tournament last week after beating Alexandria for the Section 8AAA title. It was the first time Tech had been at the state tournament in 16 years.
DeLaSalle will take on Princeton in the semifinals.
