(KNSI) – The 12th annual Pack the Porches food and fund drive for Catholic Charities Emergency Services Food Shelf raised more than 5,100 pounds of food and $24,759.47 in donations.
Pack the Porches curbside drop-off locations were set up at Pioneer Place on Fifth in St. Cloud, St. Cloud Hyundai in Waite Park and St. Cloud Financial Credit Union in Sartell. The donations were collected on Friday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
According to a press release, businesses and schools across the St. Cloud area donated to Pack the Porches leading up to Friday’s event. Coborn’s also again matched all food and fund donations up to $10,000.
Everything donated to the event helps Catholic Charities Food Shelf, serve the communities of St. Cloud, St. Augusta, Sartell, Sauk Rapids and Waite Park.
Donations are still being taken online.
