(KNSI) — St. Cloud police say the body of a woman reported missing on Friday has been found.
According to a press release, about 11:05 a.m. Sunday, someone out walking discovered a body on the western banks of the Mississippi River in the general area of Sportsman’s Island Road. Police say based on the investigation, it is believed that the body is that of 62-year-old Annette Brown.
The Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office has taken the body for formal identification and to determine the cause and manner of death. Police do not believe foul play was involved.
Police say Brown was last seen Thursday, March 10th, in the area of the 100 block of 8th Street South. Investigators say they searched the area where she was last seen and areas south of the University Bridge both Thursday night and Friday.
