(KNSI) — The director of sales at Visit Greater St. Cloud is being honored for her leadership and dedication to sustainability.
Nikki Fisher has been named a Top Young Professional in the Government Meetings Industry by the National Society of Government Meeting Planners. Members are nominated by their peers and selected by a panel of industry professionals and recognize those “with proven leadership skills and a dedication to the betterment and sustainability of SGMP.”
Fisher has been with the organization for more than 15 years, and “her dedication to client satisfaction and passion for the Greater St. Cloud area have helped secure this impressive distinction. The Greater St. Cloud community is fortunate to have someone of her caliber representing the area on a state and national level.”
In a statement from Visit Greater St. Cloud, with her role, Fisher focuses on bringing large meetings, conventions, and events to Greater St. Cloud and has worked with the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development, National Federation of the Blind of Minnesota, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, and many more.
Fischer and the other honorees will be recognized at the SGMP State of Society at NEC in Pittsburgh on June 16th, 2022.
