SAINT CLOUD (KNSI) —
The Monticello Moose defeated the St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders in the Section 5A Championship Game.
All three Monticello goals were scored by Wilson Dahlheimer including the game clincher with 15 seconds in the third period. He was named the All-Star Trophy and Awards Player of the Game.
John Hirschfield and Nolan Widman each scored for the Crusaders but it wasn’t enough as the Moose came away with 3.-2.
With the win, Monticello advances to the Class A State Tournament.
