(KNSI) — The Minnesota State Patrol says there were 79 crashes statewide from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, as the second wave of snow from this latest storm system began to blow through at the start of the morning commute.
According to Lieutenant Gordon Shank, there were ten injury crashes, no serious injury crashes, and no fatal crashes.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a chain-reaction crash Monday injured at least six people on Interstate 94 west of Fargo. The crash involved several semis and passenger vehicles. High winds created near whiteout conditions with zero visibility.
