(KNSI) — Xcel Energy says roughly 6,500 customers were without power in St. Cloud Friday morning.
Officials with Xcel tell KNSI it appears an animal, possibly a bird, caused the outage. Crews were able to restore power quickly.
A press release from Xcel energy thanks customers for their understanding, patience, and kindness as the crews worked to restore power.
