(KNSI) – Girls hockey in the St. Cloud area will celebrate a milestone during a game against their rival. St. Cloud District 742 remembers 25 years of girls hockey during Monday’s game between the Crush and the Stom’n-Stabres at the Municipal Athletic Complex.
All St. Cloud Icebreaker and Tech girl’s Hockey alum are invited to attend the game. Former Icebreaker Anne Schleper is being inducted into the Cathedral Hall of Fame and will be at the game to cheer on the Crush. The Crush are a combined team that includes St. Cloud Tech, St. Cloud Apollo and St. Cloud Cathedral High School.
The junior varsity matchup begins at 5:25 p.m. and the varsity play at 7:25 p.m. It is youth night, and all youth hockey players wearing their jerseys will get into the game for free.
Schleper is one of five former Cathedral athletes who will be inducted into the school’s athletic hall of fame on Friday.
