(KNSI) – A Sauk Centre man has been charged with criminal sexual conduct after allegedly impregnating a 14-year-old girl. Investigators say the victim’s mother called police on January 19th to report her daughter was pregnant and 25-year-old Gage Loyde-Richmond McCurley was the father.
Police interviewed the girl, and she stated she’d known McCurley for about two years. According to the criminal complaint, she had sex with McCurley at least twice in a car in Sauk Centre, and she was now pregnant. The victim told police that McCurley was the father of her child. Court records show the girl is four to eight weeks pregnant.
Court records say the officer searched the teen’s cellphone, and there were multiple messages between McCurley and the girl. They allegedly include messages sent to the victim that read:
– “No I’m not okay knowing I’m going to prison now and I only got a few weeks left of freedom. And now I know if we keep talking it’s just gonna make things worst that’s all a fact”
– “If we had it aborted the moment u found out they couldn’t do a DNA.”
– “But now I’m f*****. Cause we wanted to keep it.”
– “I’m sorry babe. But all this sucks now cause since we kept it I wont see or be able to talk to you for 15 years.”
