(KNSI) – Icy road conditions led to a half dozen vehicles crashing near Heim’s Mill in Le Sauk Township. Police were called to the area along County Road 1 around 9:45 on Saturday morning for a two-car crash.

Police say 23-year-old Kaitlyn Johnson, of Montrose, was driving her car when she spun out and was struck by a van driven by 29-year-old Justin Gill, of Sartell. According to a press release, officers were working the accident scene when two more vehicles crashed along with two other cars going into the ditch. No injuries were reported.

Police say road conditions at the time were icy and the main factor in all of the crashes. No tickets were issued. The Stearns County Sheriff’s Deputies, Sartell Police Department, Sartell Fire Department and Mayo Ambulance, responded to the crashes.
