St. Cloud SWAT Nabs Fugitive Friday

(KNSI) – Joint action by the St. Cloud Police’s Community Response Team and St. Cloud SWAT resulted in the arrest of a fugitive Friday.

According to police officials, the teams executed a search warrant Friday afternoon in the 1200 block of 10th Avenue South in reference to an ongoing investigation locating a fugitive wanted by several agencies.

38-year-old Michael John Batsche of St. Cloud was arrested and taken into custody on a second-degree burglary warrant from Wright County, a fifth-degree controlled substance warrant in Anoka County, and an aggravated robbery warrant in Washington County.

No one was injured during the arrest; Batsche is currently being held in the Stearns County Jail.
