(KNSI) – The Sartell-St. Stephen’s school district has hired a temporary replacement after a principal resigned earlier this month.
ISD 748 says they’ve hired Tim Wege as the interim principal at Sartell High School (SHS). Wege spent 19 years as Albany High School’s principal before retiring in 2021. Wege was named the 2013 High School Principal of the Year from the Central Minnesota Association of Secondary School Principals (CMASSP).
He will start as the interim principal beginning Tuesday. The District is conducting a formal search for a permanent SHS principal.
He is replacing former SHS Principal Sascha Hansen, who resigned on January 3rd.
