(KNSI) – The Moonlight Ski has been rescheduled due to extremely low wind chills.
The Nordic Ski Club and the Stearns County Parks Department are hosting a moonlight ski at Quarry Park on Friday, January 28th.
From 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., there will be bonfires, snacks, and hot drinks, door prizes, and more than four miles of lighted, groomed ski trails. Parking is also free.
Members of the Nordic Ski Club of Central Minnesota will also be available for people who want to learn more.
The day of the event, free ski rentals will be made available at Fitzharris Ski and Sport, and Revolution Cycle and Ski locations. Limited rentals and ski lessons will be available at the Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center that night.
