Vandals Damage Ski Trails at Mississippi River County Park

(KNSI) — The Stearns County Parks Department says the ski trails at Mississippi River County Park are in poor condition due to vandalism.

Officials say the damage happened after someone drove a vehicle down most of the trails over Christmas weekend and again over New Year’s weekend. The vandalism has been reported to the sheriff. Groomers are out fixing and rebuilding what they can.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office or the Stearns County Parks Department.

Trails at Quarry Park, Warner Lake, and Kramer Lake-Wildwood County Park are all in excellent condition.
