(KNSI) – The 21st annual Charity Challenge is short of its goal and is asking for the public’s help.
The Norman C. Skalicky Foundation, in partnership with the Central Minnesota Community Foundation, hosts the annual Charity Challenge. The fundraiser helps benefit the Catholic Charities, Salvation Army, and St. Joseph Food Shelves. With less than three days to go, the challenge is nearly $200,000 short of their goal.
The Norman C. Skalicky Foundation will match any donation up to $100,000.
Since 2000, the fundraiser has contributed over $4.9 million to support local food shelves. If you are interested in donating, contributions should be sent directly to any of the eligible food shelves to the attention of “Food Shelf Charity Challenge”, or donate online through Catholic Charities or the Salvation Army.
