Bradshaw and Bryant Safe Ride Home Returns for New Year’s Weekend

(KNSI) — Bradshaw & Bryant Law Office is offering their safe ride home campaign again this year.

Mike Bryant, attorney for Bradshaw & Bryant tells KNSI a quick phone call to Yellow Cab could save thousands of dollars.

“The first (DUI), typically people can get through it without too much of a big problem. It usually cost them somewhere between five and $10,000, depending on their insurance situation. Hopefully, nothing tragic happened beyond just getting the DUI, but the first one usually cost between five and 10, when you figure in the insurance and the cost of court, and if you hire a lawyer and those types of things.”

Bryant says this safe ride home campaign has become an annual tradition.

“We do it during Thanksgiving weekend, which is historically the biggest weekend for DUIs in the state each year. And then we started doing it the week after New Years. It’s primarily to start 2022 off with the idea that we don’t want any DUIs in St. Cloud that week.”

For one week starting New Year’s Day, people can take advantage of the offer by calling Yellow Cab at 320-251-5050 for a safe ride home, and Bradshaw & Bryant will pay up to ten dollars of the fare.
