(KNSI) – A convicted sex offender from Isanti County has been sentenced to 24 years in federal prison for producing child pornography.
Russell James Anderson-Baldwin pleaded guilty in federal court to one count of production of child pornography. The 39-year-old used Instagram, Snapchat, and other online messaging apps to communicate with a minor victim.
Between December 2019 and August 2020, Anderson-Baldwin coerced the child to create 286 sexually explicit videos. On Anderson-Baldwin’s phone, investigators also found around 140 sexually explicit images and videos of other minor children.
On January 16, 2020, Anderson-Baldwin was convicted in Isanti County of three counts of possession of child pornography. As a result of those convictions, he was required to register as a sex offender and was on probation when he was charged with making child porn.
