(KNSI) — The Minnesota State Patrol says a 79-year-old Princeton man is dead after hitting a tree on Highway 95 in Benton County.
According to a crash report from the state patrol, just after 11:00 Tuesday morning, Lowell Russell Yahnke was driving a pickup truck eastbound on Highway 95 at 105th Avenue Northeast south of Foley when he crossed the centerline and went into the north ditch, hitting the tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
He was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt.
