(KNSI) – A St. Cloud-based organization has been awarded an $80,000 grant to help make changes to help students succeed. The United Way of Central Minnesota Partner For Student Success was selected during the Otto Bremer Trust (OBT) grantmaking cycle.
According to a press release, the United Way will use the money to support and improve wraparound services for children. The goal is to get the most out of working with support systems in health, social service, and education for both parents and their children.
The grant will help the United Way focus on all involved and support the United Way in looking for critical needs and coming up with a plan of action.
“We are thrilled to have this opportunity to cultivate systems change through this shared ownership model in serving our young learners. The strength of any partnership is embedded in the people within it, and by bringing all voices to the table, we will continue to do great things for our kids, and therefore our community,” said Stefanie Rothstein, Director of Education Partnerships.
The Otto Bremer Trust is a bank holding company and a private charitable trust based in Saint Paul that works at the intersection of finance and philanthropy and is committed to supporting a better quality of life for residents of Minnesota.
