(KNSI) – Jolly old St. Nick will be touring Sartell a couple of days before making his rounds on Christmas Eve.
According to Sartell officials, Santa Claus will be taking a special look at the city on Wednesday. Instead of his traditional sleigh, Santa will be riding in a brand-new fire truck along with some of his friends.
Santa will take off from the Sartell Public Safety Facility around 5:30 on Wednesday evening and has mapped out a route. The map lists times Santa is anticipated to arrive throughout the route. Santa will be playing music and waving from the fire truck, so we ask the community to get outside, wave back, and make Santa feel welcome.
Officials say Santa sometimes likes to go off the beaten path, so the route and timing may vary. You can get a live few of the man in red’s tour on the Sartell Fire Department’s Facebook page. City officials thank the fire department for escorting Santa and the Sartell Police Department for guiding Santa’s fire truck.
