(KNSI) – A new store selling fresh baked cookies is open in St. Cloud. Crumble Cookies opened its seventh location in Minnesota on Friday at the corner of Highway 15 and 2nd Street South in the Rivertown Village Shopping Center. The cookie chain has more than 300 locations nationwide.

The owner of Crumbl Cookies in St. Cloud, Brian Howell, says a few things make their cookies exceptional.

“They really focus on gourmet cookies and really good quality. I mean, already this morning, we threw away probably 100 cookies that weren’t up to our standard. We’re focused on good quality. And then the other thing is our rotating menu. The chocolate chip is always here. And then we get five new cookies every week.”

He says people love coming in to try the latest cookies. Another reason for their popularity is the size of the

cookies.

“They’re actually 4.25 inches wide. That’s what the width they’re supposed to be, so imagine a softball flat and that’s about the width. And they don’t do any frozen dough so, freshness is super important. Fresh ingredients and we make all of it from scratch every.”

Crumbl cookies has special cookies cutters you can buy so you can share or save your cookies for later. Howell owns the store with his parents and siblings. He says they chose St. Cloud because it’s a pretty good-sized town with many good people. This is the family’s third store, with the others in Maple Grove and Rochester.

Crumbl Cookies can be ordered from their app and there’s a rewards program. For more information on the company, click here.
