(KNSI) – Law enforcement is looking for a van believed to have been involved in burglary near Little Falls.
The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office says they were called around 11:15 on Monday morning after a homeowner arrived to find a burglary in progress. Law enforcement met with the owner at his property off 118th Street, two miles south of Little Falls, in Little Falls Township.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the suspect vehicle was a white cargo van (late 2000 model). The back of the van was described as having a box style with two doors in the rear that opened outward. Two male occupants were seen in the van. The van left the scene at a high rate of speed.
Deputies say the home was forcibly entered through a home door, and the suspects broke into a safe. The homeowner says the thieves stole jewelry and old silver coins.
