(KNSI) — Five people were left homeless after a fire Wednesday morning in St. Cloud.
According to a critical incident report from the St. Cloud Fire Department, firefighters were called to the blaze at a home on the 1000 block of 13th Avenue Southeast just after 3:00 a.m. When they arrived, they said there was a working fire in the upper level of the home and that everyone had gotten out safely and no one was injured. The Red Cross is helping the family.
Damage to the home is estimated at $78,000 and is under investigation by the St. Cloud Fire Marshal’s office.
This is the second major house fire this week. The St. Cloud Fire Department says 11 people were displaced after a fire Monday morning.
