(KNSI) — The City of St. Cloud has narrowed down its top four photos for its annual photo contest, and they’re asking residents to decide the people’s choice.

The four photos depict an eagle in a frosty tree, children enjoying the 4th of July fireworks, a sunrise on the river, and a hummingbird visiting a flower. According to the St. Cloud Greater Facebook page, those four have been narrowed down as the favorites, but the top vote-getter will be honored with the People’s Choice Award.

To cast your vote, go to the St. Cloud Greater Facebook page and give your favorite photo a like. Voters must do so by noon on December 10th.

At Monday night’s City Council meeting, City Planner Tammy Campion said 2020 was skipped due to the pandemic, so 2021 was a big year. “This year, we had 127 entries, which is our number one year since 2014.” Since its inception in 2014, Campion says there have been over 600 photos entered. So, who sees the pictures? Campion says the city uses them for marketing efforts for the city. “Print, online publications, social media, presentations, websites, etc.”
