(KNSI) — The Minnesota State Patrol says a 24-year-old Melrose woman was killed in a crash early Saturday morning.
According to a crash report from the state patrol, the driver of a GMC Sierra was going north on Highway 4 at milepost 152 in Spring Hill Township about 1:30 when she veered off the road and made contact with the northbound ditch. Crash investigators say the SUV struck a field approach and rolled. The vehicle came to a rest on its wheels facing east in the northbound ditch. It then started on fire after rolling and coming to a rest.
