(KNSI) — No one was hurt after a skid steer loader fire inside an outbuilding in Albany Township Friday morning.
About 8:45, a call came in about the fire. Crews from the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, assisted by the Albany Fire Department, Albany Police Department, and Melrose Ambulance all responded to the scene. According to a press release from the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, firefighters, with the help of the 34-year-old property owner pulled the burning skid loader out of the building with another tractor and put the fire out.
The report says there was minimal damage to the outbuilding, which sustained some minor charring. The loader was heavily damaged.
