(KNSI) – A teenager is in custody after allegedly robbing a 78-year-old woman at gunpoint.
The Sartell woman says she was in her car in a parking lot on the 4200-block of Division Street West at 8:49 a.m. on Tuesday when an unknown male opened the car’s rear passenger door and got in. Investigators say the suspect threatened the woman with a gun and demanded all of her belongings.
The suspect got out of the car and got into a black SUV that fled the area. Investigators learned a 17-year-old from Rochester was a suspect and he was arrested in Eden Prairie. The teen was taken to the Hennepin County Jail on charges of aggravated robbery.
